Sword Spell

Category:

Protection Spells.

Purpose:

To protect your home against intrusion.

Timing:

Any dark night.

Items Needed:

9 x tealights

1 x charcoal disk in a fireproof dish

1 x tsp mugwort

1 x tsp of dittany of Crete

Matches or lighter

Casting the spell:

Cast your circle.

Light the charcoal.

Sit facing north in the center of the circle and place the tealights equidistant around you and then light them.

Sprinkle the mugwort and dittany onto the charcoal. Close you eyes and breathe in the aroma.

Allow yourself to go within until you feel relaxed and ready. When you are ready, Visualize a shield in the north of the circle, a sword in the south, a wand in the east, and a chalice in the west. Visualize the shield, wand, and chalice merging with the sword. Now envisage the sword passing over your head from behind you and resting point down in front of you. Mentally tell the sword to guard your home. Mentally set it spinning and taking up guard at the boundary to your house.

Close the circle.

In order to make sure that the strength of the sword is not diminished, and is continually renewed, you should visualize the sword spinning in its place every night just prior to sleep.
