To help you find new friends. Suitable for those who have moved and don't know anybody, or for those who simply wish to broaden their circle of friends.
Timing:
Within three days of the new moon (the moon needs to be visible). This spell should be cast outdoors, preferably on a hilltop.
Items Needed:
1 x small bowl
1 x white candle (or tealight)
4 x cherry stones from fruit you have eaten (similar pits or stones can be substituted)
1 x tbs sugar
1 x needle (or something sharp pointed for inscribing)
Matches or lighter
Casting the spell:
Place the stones and the sugar together in the bowl.
Inscribe the top of the candle with the sign for Venus (a circle with a joined cross at the bottom). Inscribe a new moon opposite to this.
Light the candle.
Lift your eyes to the moon, place your hand on the sugar and stones, and say:
Winds of the east, winds of the west,
Winds of the south, winds of the north,
Heed my words and hear my prayer
To summon new friends and bring them forth.
Bow to the moon and scatter the sugar and stones to the four winds.
