Name: Find True Love Spell
Category: Love Spells
Purpose: To help you find a true love.
Timing: First Friday after the new moon.
Items Needed:
- Sea salt.
- Matches or lighter.
- 2 x pink candles.
- Anointing oil.
- 1 x rose quartz crystal.
- Rose or lavender incense.
- 9 x red or pink rosebuds.
Casting the spell:
- Take a ritual bath using the sea salt and meditate on the spell you will perform.
- Cast a circle.
- Light the incense stick (or cone).
- Take one of the pink candles and hold it in your hands. Visualize your need and your desire to find true love.
- Anoint the first pink candle with the oil that you have chosen. This is done by placing a little of the oil on your fingertips and then holding the candle at its midpoint with your left index finger and thumb. Use your right index finger and thumb to stroke oil on the candle from the midpoint up to the top of the candle. Next, hold the candle at its midpoint with your right index finger and thumb, and use your left index finger and thumb to stroke oil on the candle from the midpoint down to the bottom of the candle. Continue in this fashion until the entire candle has been anointed.
- While ritually anointing your candle you should visualize a pure white beam of light coming up from Mother Earth and entering your body through the soles of your feet, and another beam of white light coming down from the Universe and entering your body through the top of your head. Visualize the energy of these beams of light flowing throughout your body and mingling together, finally coming together and concentrating in your hands making them feel warm and tingly. Continue to stroke your candle until you feel the energy from your hands transfer to the candle. Your candle is now charged with your personal energy and magickal intent.
- Take the second pink candle and hold it in your hands. Visualize the type of man or woman that you desire. This is not for use with a specific person. Think about the characteristics or traits that you are looking for in a partner.
- After you have finished your visualization, anoint the candle (as above).
- Place the two pink candles in holders on your altar. Place the rose quartz crystal in between the two candle holders. Encircle the two candle holders with the nine rose buds.
- Light the two pink candles and visualize yourself in a perfect loving relationship with the perfect partner. Continue this visualization as long as possible. Allow your candles to burn down completely.
- Close the circle.
One of the rose buds and the rose quartz should be carried with you at all times to reinforce your magickal intention. The eight remaining rose buds should be scattered to the winds as an offering.
